BUBBLES by fairylight
Wow. What an amazing scene of giant bubbles illuminated by fairylight.
Bubbles in the Bay artisan Tyler Anderson will be choreographing bubbles to sound and fairylight for two hours until 26 December.
FIREWORKS
NEW YEAR'S EVE. 26TH FIREWORKS
Our spectacular fireworks display is at 9.45pm on 31st Dec as we welcome the new year with fun, festivity and family.
SPECIAL. Buy tickets online for New Year's Eve Tue 31 Dec and you can park inside the grounds behind the grandstand. Enter at Gate 1, end of Kenilworth Rd. Gate 1 is open 8pm to 9.30pm only. Exit from Gate 13 to Elwood Rd.. You are welcome to bring own food, picnic & fold-chairs.
Gate sales access from Gate 3 Kenilworth Rd & Gate 4 Karamu Rd. We accept cash, eftpos, paywave & credit cards. Check our facebook page for the latest updates.
FACEPAINTING
New body painter Thea from Theas Arts and Entertainment is here for the first time to paint glow in the dark patterns onto faces and arms. This is a free service for all visitors . Thea is in the Glow Zone Exhibition Hall.
Party Train Express
Choo choo. A fun ride in the dark for all ages. Operating at a smooth gentle pace, this ride is always a hit for kids and adults alike. Running every night except New Year's Eve.
PULSE BAND
Pulse is back by popular demand on New Year's Eve Tue 31 Dec in front of the stadium from 8.30pm to 10.45pm. They play great music to dance to, from the latest to the greatest for the whole family to enjoy at our new year celebrations. They are wonderful. Set up camp in front of the stage and then go exploring the lights when it's dark.
